The Fat Bastard is made of
high quality 3 inch open cell and 1 inch closed cell foams. A total of 4
inches of padding makes our bouldering pad one of the thickest ones out
there. The Fat Bastard has an innovative closure system with our
unbreakable aluminum crash pad buckles and a velcro bottom making this pad perfect for
packing around your bouldering gear. Metolius's signature 45 degree angled
hinge removes the gutter found in other folding pads. The Fat Bastard
features a carry handle,
laminated - die-cut shoulder straps, a waist belt with side release
buckle, and a pouch to store your keys or other small items. The burly carpet
landing surface keeps your climbing shoes clean,
and provides a non-slip surface. The Fat Bastard is basically a fully deluxe pad
with ALL the bells and whistles.
